Mr. Nkereuwem Onung is the National President of the Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria, under his leadership he has charged stakeholders in the private sector to see training and capacity building as a driving force that will set the tone for sustainable tourism in Nigeria. He has been appointed as the Senior Special Adviser on Culture and Tourism by the governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Emo. Mr Onung, practical commitment to the promotion and development of workable strategies through positive collaboration and the engagement of public and private sector practitioners for a purposeful agenda to grow the tourism economy in Nigeria has earned him this new position.
